Memories of the summer…..

Summer is slowly fading away up here in the North. There is crispness to the air at night and we have even had our first rains for the season. Soon the lovely long summer will be just a memory and we will be eagerly awaiting the arrival of the next one!
For the last two summers whilst staying in Spain our children have dragged us to the local amusement park. It is the most dreadful place when you are over the age of 12, heaving with tourists and the most awful food. It also has the most annoying theme song that sticks in your head for the next year, just to make sure theydon’t forget to come back the following year!!
But they love it, so we happily oblige.
There are of course some good things about the place like….
Candy…..
The endless fun rides…..
Watching The Little Mermaid on your dad’s shoulders, even if it’s in Spanish and you can’t understand a word!!!
And of course the sheer looks of joy on their faces that makes you realise that you would do anything for them!
Those are very sweet memories! I am so glad your package arrived well and that your daughter loves the envelopes so much. Sounds like my Hailey- she loves to play with all my crafty things and I just cannot seem to say no! Are you all enjoying the latest weather? Isn’t it just wonderful?
