Was so nice to see these photo&#039;s and your comments.  We have a house at (I&#039;m almost sure) the spot where you were.  It is next to Canda Laguna and called Paradise Palms.  Our place overlooks Lake Canda.

It is such a special place and the locals are such wonderful people.  Can&#039;t wait to visit again in December.

Thanks for the Pau recipe,  will try it this weekend!If you ever drive through Xai Xai you must visit the bakery they have the most incredible custard and coconut tarts! To die for.

		<description>These photos are stunning!  I would love to travel more in Africa, but Morocco feels so landlocked... Algeria to one side, desert and sea on the others.  I thought South Africa was absolutely gorgeous!  It was a dream come true to go on a safari!</description>
