Mountains, snow and cheese….

Hi Everyone,
Well at last I have managed to get some photos sorted out from our holiday.
First stop….Underberg………
Arriving in Underberg, Kwazulu Natal came as a bit of a shock to the system with most nights well below freezing and the days only somewhat warmer! A quick reminder that we were now in the midst of winter! The children were delighted to wake up one morning with the clouds looming over the distant Berg and snow falling!! Not close enough to touch though!
Now of course there had to be food involved. My in-laws have a little Cheesery in Underberg. They have a small herd of Jersey cows on the property which are milked daily and the cheese is made on site. I love the whole process of the cheese making and the fact that you know exactly what you are eating! My personal favourites are the Old Underberger, the Italiano and the chilli cheeses!
